Since 2004, the Skydragon Community Co-Opertive has been developing a social hub for progressive social and environmental change. In 2006, they opened the Bread & Roses Café, and in 2007 this space was the first to join the family of Peace Cafés.

This vibrant community hub includes offerings such as locally roasted fair trade coffee, local organic healthy food, art displayed by local artists, daily yoga classes, dance classes, the Peace Café library, the central office of Hamilton Centre for Teachng Peace, the GLBT Wellness Centre, Greenpeace Hamilton, the Ethical Consumers Cooperative, Mayday Magazine, Hamilton Freeskool, regular events, and more!

Hamilton Centre for Teaching Peace (HCTP)

HCTP's office is located at the basement of the Skydragon building. Our objectives are to help support this community hub by promoting the excellent work being done by the numerous organizations in this space, and helping contribute to the space by providing the Peace Café Library, workshops, speakers, and other regular events.
